All Roads Leave To Thorns
Rising Up Through The Leaves
Pretty in Pink
Beauty is Pain
Needles to say
  1. The caption said are on the photos. My creative device roots from wanting to catpture the little things, using close up shots that really expose the little details. This helps catch the readers attention by drawing the eye into the intricate details of the pine needles, the veins in the flower, or the pricks on the cactus. This helps create a pleasing photo by showcasing extreme natural detail and capturing the perfect design of God’s creation. This helps focus the viewers eye, on the natural design of the plants photographed, and trains the eye on what I want them to focus on.
  2. I do not believe anything other devices are used in these photos. However, I do not know about the topic enough to know if I’m missing something.
  3. I was happily suprised by how many shooting options there was in the conservatory, and I was really excited about some of the photos I captured. I wish I could have enhanced them a little to really bring out the details, but I’m still really proud of them, considering they were shot on a phone. I was suprised that we couldn’t edit them, considering it is a media class, I guess I would have though initially that use of all technology would have been permitted. With that said though, after getting into the assignment, I am kind of happy and moderately relieved that we had to go “all natural” because I think it allows the rawness of the photographs to shine through, and to allow them to speak for themselves, not photoshop. I think it also levels the playing field for students who do not have professional grade equipment, and allows them to express their work in an unbiased way, while allowing their creativity, and their eye for unique shots to be the forefront.
