Hi everyone! Thanks for checking out my blog, this is my first blog post….ever! So bare with me and we will learn together! So first, reading through the syllabus and some of my peer’s blog posts, I am really excited about learning how to manage and create a unique and meaningful blog, to interview industry leaders on topics and issues that are facing the agriculture industry, to hone my skills in photography, and finally to broaden my horizons and networking skills. It
I would really love to interview producers from around the country that have really had a big impact on their own sector of the industry, and get their story and their history out there. I would also like to interview agriculture education teachers from around the state of Wyoming, and cover the Wyoming State FFA Convention, and the National FFA Convention in my blog this semester. These organizations and events have a huge impact on youth in the state of wyoming and around the country, and no but their success is largely due to the supporters educators behind the scenes.
I plan on promoting the National FFA organization and 4-H program, as well as the Livestock Judging Team here at the University of Wyoming, and bring attention to the amazing work all three are doing for youth from around the country. It is very clear that I will need to learn how to report on, investigate into, and creatively showcase events, stories, and causes important to me dear to my heart.
